Alice worked at Sandia National Labs for 31 years while being a mom. She inspired her family with her travels around the world and daring activities such as rafting the Grand Canyon at age 71 and zip lining at age 88. She loved attending theater productions, playing bridge weekly, dining with friends, and visiting the casino once in a while. She was a charter member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, a secretary and chaplain for the Yucca Temple #74 Daughters of the Nile and loved volunteering at the “Bargain Box” and Blue Portal as a member of the Assistance League of Albuquerque. When asked recently she said she had finished her bucket list and to “mark her off the worry list”.
