Alice Rivera

RIVERA, ALICE V.Age 86, a resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, February 19, 2013. She is survived by husband of 63 years, Mariano "Monty" Rivera; her children, Chris Rivera and wife, Maria, Debbie Rivera, Tommy Rivera and wife, Mary; grandchildren, Leah, Tyler, Nikki, Angela; great grandchildren, Candice and Alexandra; great-great grandchildren, Isaiah and Alyia; her sister, Josephine Goodman and husband, Tom, Elia Parkin and husband, Don and many other family and friends. Mrs. Rivera was preceded in death by her parents, Bruno & Rafaela Peinado; her daughters, Yvonne, Leah and Michelle; and her siblings, Magda, Domitilia, Bruno, Dan, and Hector. Alice was a member of Kirtland Air Force Base Chapel. She was an active volunteer with family services at Kirtland AFB, St. Vincent de Paul Society at OLA. Mrs. Rivera was a faithful and loving wife and incredible mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed. There will be a service Monday, February 25, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. A Rosary will also be recited Monday, February 25, 2013, 7:00 p.m. at French - Lomas. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 26, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, Lomas & Tennessee. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
