Alice Milazzo, 65, passed away on June 4, 2016. Alice was born in Aderdeen, MD to Clarence and Vera (Davies) Jenke. Alice grew up in Buffalo, NY attending school there and later meeting her husband Charles Milazzo. Alice received an Associate's degree in Radiology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of South Carolina. Together, Alice and Charles raised three boys, Chris, Damien, and Russell. Alice was a career Nurse and worked for St. Joseph and Lovelace Hospitals in Albuquerque.
She had a great love of art, especially art connected with Chinese and Japanese culture. She was an artist herself, taking up Chinese ink painting and calligraphy in her later years. She loved animals and wildlife and was an avid and successful gardener.
Alice is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Charles; sons, Chris, Damien (Naly), and Russell (Isabel); granddaughter, Daniela; and her siblings, Albert Jenke, Elizabeth Urbaniak, and Patricia Steger.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at FRENCH -University. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The World Wildlife Fund, worldwildlife.org/donate.
