Alice Jeffries

JEFFRIES, ALICE M.Age 90, a resident of Albuquerque for almost forty years, passed away Friday, June 29, 2012. She is survived by her nieces, Teresa M. Stringer, and Carmel M. Rippberger and husband, Michael; her nephew, James C. Stringer, all of Albuquerque. She also leaves behind her niece, Mary Skinner and husband, Sean; nephew, Jim Roche all of Newfoundland, Canada and many other loving family members in the United States and Canada. She was preceded in death by her husband, CMSgt. Donald J. Jeffries USAF (Ret.); her father, James J. Roche; mother, Julia Roche. She was a member of The Shrine of St. Bernadette for many years. Twenty-eight years ago she was one of the founding members of the Albuquerque support group for Celiac disease. A Rosary will be recited 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2012 at French - Lomas, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE, Albuquerque. Mass will be celebrated 9:00 a.m. on Friday, July 6, 2012, at The Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11401 Indian School Road NE, Albuquerque. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery following the Mass at 1:30 p.m. Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. prior to the Rosary.
