Alice E. Helgesen, 83, passed away to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Gentiva Hospice, Albuquerque, NM.
Alice was born on October 14, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY. She married her high school sweetheart on August 9, 1952. After his military service, they settled and raised four wonderful sons and lived for 28 years in the Princeton, NJ area. Alice loved acting in little theater groups, traveling and finding new places to live in. During their 64 plus years of marriage she and her husband moved over 18 times and finally retired in Albuquerque, NM.
She is survived by her husband, Earl; three sons, Christian and wife, Karen, Scott and wife, Sandy, and David; her sister, Alfrieda and husband, Neal Palomba; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents, Alfred and Eunice Larsen; and her son, Richard.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 15, 2017, 10:00 a.m., at Gate of Heaven Cemetery with the Reverend Mike Linville officiating. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
