Alice Marie Arsenault (Dennison) was born on May 10, 1930 and passed away peacefully on February 4, 2017.
Alice is survived by her seven children, Ed Arsenault and Annett Gomez of Killeen, TX, Nikki Joseph and husband John of Albuquerque, NM, Alana Bennett and husband Russ of Modesto, CA, Roylene Mills and husband Les of Rio Rancho, NM, Joe Hughes and husband Dave of Dalbo, MN, Roy Arsenault and wife Cyndee of San Antonio, TX and Jon Arsenault and wife Gina of Albuquerque, NM; her sisters, Mary Smith and Willie Rule and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Alice was born in Dove Creek, Colorado and attended school in Cortez, Colorado. After graduating, she moved to Albuquerque, where she met Albert Arsenault. The two were married on October 31, 1951. Alice accompanied Albert on his many military assignments throughout the states, which included stays in New Mexico, Alaska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Texas.
She worked as a homemaker and took care of her children. She also loved gardening and sewing. She was preceded in death by Albert, her loving husband of 61 years, in June of 2012.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 10, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at FRENCH - Westside. Interment will follow at 2:15 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 N. Guadalupe Street, Santa Fe, NM 87501.
