Albert Howard Dietz, 67, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away unexpectedly on December 9th, 2023
Howard was born on May 5th, 1956, to Dolores Hair and Albert Louis Dietz Jr., in Baton Rouge, LA. His early years in Baton Rouge laid a foundation for a life characterized by a love for sports and an unwavering commitment to excellence. After receiving his diploma from Santa Fe High, he furthered his education at the University of New Mexico’s School of Business, where he refined his skills that would make him an exceptional business partner.
Those who knew Howard saw him not just as a brilliant entrepreneur and sports enthusiast, but as a loving and dedicated husband to his best friend and love of his life, Karen Justus. His favorite times were those spent with Karen and family.
Preceded in death by his father, Albert Louis Dietz, mother Dolores Dietz, and brother Thomas Dietz. Howard’s memory will be cherished and kept alive by his beloved wife Karen; his sister, Kay Dietz McLaughlin; his brother, John Dietz; his mother-in-law, Elaine Justus; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who adored him.
A celebration of Howard’s life will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, December 28th, 2023, at FRENCH Funerals and Cremations, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Albuquerque NM. The service will be followed by a reception on site, where the family and friends can share memories and stories, ensuring that Howard’s legacy continues to live with all who were fortunate enough to know him.
