Albert Norris Ballard

Albert "Al" Norris Ballard, 93, resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 70 years, Joan; son, Mark Ballard; parents, Albert, and Leila Ballard; sister, Ruth Helen Johnson; and brothers, Red and Howard Ballard.

Al is survived by his daughter, Marsha Rivera and husband, Pat; granddaughter, Colleen Jones and husband, Shawn; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Tyler, and Tristyn Jones; Sister, Mary Jo Elrod; brother, Ray Ballard along with many nieces and nephews.

Al will be remembered as a devoted family man. He proudly served in the United States Army and retired from the oil industry.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00a.m. at FRENCH-Wyoming on Saturday, September 3, 2022. He will be laid to rest at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Should friends desire, contributions may be made to wounded warrior project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org or Joy Junction at www.joyjunction.org.
