Gallegos – Sandoval, Agueda (Aggie)

Born in La Loma, NM in 1931, she married Gilbert F. Gallegos in 1946. Together they were blessed with 5 children; Gilbert Gallegos, Hope Chavez, Danny Gallegos, Jimmy Gallegos and Annabell Gallegos. Aggie attended both Highlands University and later TVI. After moving to Albuquerque in 1968 she began her career as accountant with the City of Albuquerque until her retirement in 1994. Following her retirement, Aggie gave ten years of her life as a volunteer at UNMH. Aggie was a proud member of Las Mujeres de Lulac. Aggie is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Nestor Gonzales and Manuelita Gutierrez and Gilbert F. Gallegos, her son Jimmy P. Gallegos; granddaughters, Dominique Gallegos, Charity Sanchez; siblings, Augustine, Amador, Castella, Albert, Eddie, Manny and Berna. Aggie is survived by her husband of 38 years, Jose Sandoval, her son, Gilbert and wife Patty; her daughter, Hope and husband JD; her son, Danny and wife Connie; her daughter, Annabelle and husband Jack; grandchildren, Bobbie Chavez, Faith Sanchez, the Honorable Daniel Gallegos, Dominic Gallegos, Gabrielle Hearod and Stephanie Duneman; 7 great-grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and her dearest cousin, Nina Henry. Aggie will always be remembered for her passion of politics, her beauty, her strength and her love of her family. Pallbearers will be Faith Sanchez, the Honorable Daniel Gallegos, Dominic Gallegos, Gabrielle Hearod, Stephanie Duneman and Angelo Esquibel. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at St. Joseph’s on the Rio Grande Catholic Church at 5901 Josephs Dr. NW Albuquerque, NM 87120. A Mass will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s on the Rio Grande Catholic Church. Entombment will be held immediately after Mass at Mt.
