Agnes, age 95, of Laguna Pueblo, was called home to heaven on Thursday, October 6, 2022. She was the daughter of Joseph Montoya and Ada Kie. Agnes was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 70 years, Pastor William Fragua, as well as her two beloved children, Patricia Louise Lyver and Dwayne Keith Fragua.
Agnes led a life devoted to the service of others. With a long career of over 37 years as a Physical Therapist Technician at Lovelace Hospital. For over 60 years, she served the Lord alongside Pastor Bill Fragua, at the All Nations Assembly of God Church in Albuquerque, NM.
Agnes' life represented servanthood. She was the epitome of the Proverbs 31 woman and guided her family with a gentle hand. Above all, Agnes was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who raised many children with patience, strength, and love. Everyone was welcomed in her home, were always well-fed, and left with a prayer of support or encouragement. Some of her hobbies consisted of baking, cooking, reading her bible, crocheting, embroidery, and service at the Women's Auxiliary at church. Agnes will be remembered for her delicious tortillas and baked goods, her love for God, her family, empathetic ear, her hardworking hands, her grace, and her loving soul.
She is survived by her children, Rose T. Fragua-Dorsey and family, as well as William G. Fragua and family; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Theresa Clare Fragua, Juanita Concho, and Katherine Norberta Corpus. She also leaves to cherish her memory, numerous nieces and nephews.
She will be dearly missed.
