Adolfo Armando Medina

Adolfo Armando Medina, 90, a resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, September 3, 2013. He is survived by his children, Delmeria M. Pacheco and husband, Andrew F. of Albuquerque, NM, Patricia Medina, and Donna Rubio, both of Salt Lake City; grandchildren, Cody, Damien, Christina, Stephanie, Nathan, Donaciano, Niome, Andrew E., Jerry, Albert, Anna, and Jessica; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Ida Padilla and husband, Ben and Lourden Rivera and husband, Jessie, all of Albuquerque; and many other relatives and friends. Mr. Medina was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Donelia; sons, Jerry and Larry Medina; parents, Facundo and Delmiria Medina; brothers, Tom, Elihu, and Ismael; and sister, Grace. Adolfo was born in 1923 in Ojo Sarco, NM and lived there until leaving at the age of 18 to Colorado where he worked in the mines. He moved to Salt Lake City in the early 1950's where he lived and worked for the Union Pacific until he retired. Adolfo moved to Albuquerque in 2012 to be near his daughter. He had a very good sense of humor and everyone adored his smile. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Friends and family may visit at Neil O'Donnell & Sons Mortuary in Salt Lake City, UT on Friday, September, 6, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Services will be held at Neil O'Donnell & Sons Mortuary Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Salt Lake City, UT. Pallbearers will be Donaciano, Andrew E., Jerry, Cody, Damien, Albert, and Nathan. FRENCH - Wyoming 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE (505) 823-9400
