Adeline (Addie) Purchase

Addie was born in Chicago on January 18, 1928, and an Albuquerque resident since 1952. She was so loved by many and appreciated for her quick wit and unwavering faith and resilience even through her final days. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren and created many fond memories with them and her husband and children throughout her lifetime. She had many cherished memories of the people she worked with at the Archdiocese of Santa Fe and enjoyed volunteering for the Right to Life office and attending daily mass with her best friend, Jessie Shenuski. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Bill, and young son Billy. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Williams, Lori Greth, Sharon James, and Donna Gillingham, and husband Frank, grandchildren, Nick Williams and wife Amber, Leslie Williams, Haley James, and Addie Gillingham. She also has three great-grandchildren, Gabriel and Asher Riddle, Clayton Jace (CJ) Williams, and her loving sister Helen Palmer from Alabama. She also has many special cousins, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Rosary will be said on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas and the funeral mass will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Church, 5311 Phoenix Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Right to Life Committee of NM, 2413 Wyoming Blvd NE, Suite A, Albuquerque, NM 87112 or a charity of your preference.
