Abenicio Cordova

Abenicio Cordova, 99, a lifetime resident of Albuquerque passed away at his home on July 19, 2018.

He was born on June 23, 1919 in Mora, NM, born to Celso and Marcelina Cordova. He is preceded in death by his wife, Chona; his son, Abie Cordova; his daughter, Priscilla Aragon; his sons-in-law, Luciano Aragon and Bill Watkins. He is survived by his children, Joanna Watkins, Lillian Mae Lucero, Nancy Cordova, Orlando Ebell his friend and devoted caregiver of 16 years; 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Abenicio retired from Sandia Base Fire Department after a long career as a firefighter.

A Service will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018, 1:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas.

He will be interred at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107.
