Aaron "Moose" Zenjasit Martinez

Aaron Martinez, age 17, our precious son, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2019. Aaron was known for his comedic ability to make everyone laugh regardless of the situation, he was also a sensitive and caring person “our gentle giant”. He loved all sports; especially wrestling, baseball, basketball, and football.  Aaron also loved to travel – no destination too far, and just recently came back from his graduation trip where he chose to go to New York City.  He is survived by his parents, Colleen and Gonzalo Martinez; and brother, Alejandro Martinez. He also leaves many cherished aunts, uncles, and cousins behind. Also touching Aaron’s life was his uncle; Jorje Barron who he looked up to, also Myrna Lira and Cesar Andazola; who were like an aunt and uncle to him his entire life, made him part of their family, and whom Aaron loved to spend time and travel with.  Aaron was preceded in death by his Uncle; Patrick Wolfe in 2018. Services will be held at: Sagebrush Community Church, Riverside Campus Student Center, 6440 Coors Blvd. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120 on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Reception to follow.
