Alvarado, Aaron Andrew Aaron Andrew Alvarado was born on September 14, 1977 in Phoenix, AZ, to Albert and Barbara (Mentemeyer) Alvarado. In 1979, the family moved to Albuquerque, NM, which became home. Aaron graduated from La Cueva High School, where he played football and ran track. He attended University of New Mexico-TVI and earned his Associate's Degree in Construction Management. He was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity, for whom he designed and built a deck onto the frat house! He worked as a project manager for a number of construction companies. During that time, he designed and built his own home, of which he was extremely proud. Aaron enjoyed gourmet cooking, sports, hunting, fishing, camping, spending time with his friends, and playing with his dog, Jaeger. He is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Alvarado; paternal grandparents, Crispin and Helen Alvarado of Globe, AZ and maternal grandparents, Alfred and Caroline Mentemeyer of Phoenix, AZ. He is survived by his father, Albert Alvarado, of Globe, AZ; paternal aunt, Gloria Aguirre (John Hawkins) of Globe; maternal uncle, Richard Mentemeyer (Linda) of Keller, TX, and maternal aunt, Marilyn Elsner of Hilo, HI. He is also survived by his special friend, Renee Roberts, of Albuquerque; first cousins, Stephanie Irish of Globe, AZ, Mike Mentemeyer of Dallas, TX, Laura Maxfield (Mike) of Dallas,TX, Fred Elsner (Darlene) of Carlsbad, CA, and many other beloved cousins and friends. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, April 10, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Sagebrush Community Church, 6440 Coors Blvd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120.
