William Van (Billy) Zile

Auditions closed for the best on Sunday, November 6, 2016. William (Billy) Van Zile, 55, was surrounded by his loving family when he passed. Billy was born in Ridgewood, New Jersey to Robert (Casey) Van Zile and Ann Osenga. He is survived by his loving wife, Marianna; his four children, Savannah Georgia (Levi) Bookwalter, Sierra Summer Van Zile, Jesse William Van Zile and Jezarae Winter Van Zile; his mother, Ann Osenga; two step-children, Emma Yvette Klein and Michaela Marie Klein; two grandchildren, Dustin and Carwyn Bookwalter; two sisters, Debra Mistretta and Margaret Van Zile; his nephew, Steffen Chavez, and his niece, Katie Chavez; his brother, Ryan Osenga, and his niece, Draven Osenga, as well as his uncle and aunt, William and Margaret Bush.
Billy will be greatly missed by numerous relatives, friends, musicians and all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his father, sister, grandparents William and Mary Singleterry, from Charleston, SC and Lewis and Catherine Van Zile.
Billy was a renowned drummer, known throughout New Mexico and New York City for his talents. He loved his motorcycles, vehicles, fishing, his pets, and most importantly, his family.
Billy's final gig will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Rio Rancho in the Desert View Chapel.
