William "Bill" Burk
With deepest sorrow, the family of William Hubbard Burk announces his passing on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. Bill was born to Freeland Evert (F.E.) and Pauline Burk in Safford, AZ on Tuesday, February 23, 1943. After attending high school in House, New Mexico, Bill entered the Air Force and traveled the world as a Medical/Dental equipment repair technician. Eventually ending up in Australia, Bill met his wife, Neridah (Urquhart) and returned to New Mexico continuing with his successful 40 year career repairing medical/dental equipment. Bill had many varied interests throughout his life including scuba diving, spear fishing, hunting, and boating. He is preceded in death by his sister, Dorthie Thompson. Bill is survived by his wife, Neridah; sister, LaRita Ecker; daughters, Cynthia Burk and Glenna Heath (Bryan); sons, Bruce Burk (Luann), Sean McCarthy (Ali), Paul Burk, and Phillip Burk; grandchildren, Marcus Heath (Alyssa), Rachael Heath; Hallam and Maddie McCarthy; Bryan, Alice and Mason Burk and their mother, Julie.
