Wanda Barnum

Wanda Barnum, 84, beloved, was called home to our Lord and Father on Saturday, April 29, 2017.
She entered this world on July 17, 1932 in Ardmore, OK, born to Larkin and Carrie Williams. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Paul Barnum; her daughters, Cara Candelaria and husband, Ray, and Brenna Dotson and husband, Ron; granddaughters, Cantrell Mosley and husband, Brandon, Caray Stover and husband, Will, Devon and Avery Dotson; grandson, Raymond Candelaria and wife, Alicia; great-grandchildren, Raelle and Braylon Mosley, and Weston Stover; brothers, J.C. Williams, Bobby Williams and wife, Zona, and Doyle Williams and wife, Janis; sister, Melba Wallace and husband, Bobby; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Theresa Lente-Espinosa.
Wanda served the Lord by teaching Sunday school for over 50 years. She was an avid Dallas Cowboy football fan. A matriarch of her family, she was a great cook who enjoyed collecting cookbooks. Wanda cared for her family, and was a doting grandmother and great-grandmother.
Friends may visit on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. Services will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2017, 10:00 a.m. at Northeast Church of Christ, 11000 Paseo Del Norte, NE. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Wanda's name to the Albuquerque Christian Children's Home, 5700 Winter Haven Rd NW, Albuquerque, 87120.
