Timothy Mark Helmick passed away Sunday, December 18, 2016 at home, with his family by his side, after a six-year battle with cancer. Tim was born to Colonel Richard Helmick and Dorothy Helmick in Sacramento, California. Several years later, he moved with his parents and family to Albuquerque, New Mexico. He remained in Albuquerque, graduated from Highland High School and attended the University of New Mexico.
He then began his career in real estate. He married his wife, Christine (Killian) Helmick, in 1999. Tim had a very successful career in commercial and residential real estate, excelling in design and development for nearly 30 years.
Tim was a devoted husband and father. He loved spending time and traveling with his wife and their two sons, Chase and Konner. He enjoyed watching sports with his family and friends. Tim was always willing to help a friend in need or to give heartfelt advice to those in distress. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Christine; sons, Chase and Konner; his brother, Rick; and sister-in-law, Pati; his brother, Rob; and sister-in-law, Teri; and his brothers, Dwight and George; his sister, Diane, numerous nephews and one niece. Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Service on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Copper Pointe Church, 10500 Copper Ave NE in Albuquerque.
