Suzy was born on November 6, 1947 to Robert F. Colborn and Peggy Von Colborn in Eunice, New Mexico, grew up there and attended Eunice schools. She graduated from Eunice High School in 1965 and it was there she formed close friendships that lasted a lifetime and met Terry, the love of her life. She was a member of the Hoffmantown Church, the American Management Association and an avid supporter of the Presbytian foundation. Her private passions were her family, her spiritual faith, reading, fishing and cooking.
