Susan M. (Jordan) Beebe

Susan Beebe nee Susan Jordan passed away January 10, 2019 at Morningstar Memory Care where she had fought a courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She is survived by her husband, Brad; her sister, Barbe of Santa Barbara, CA; brother-in-law, Steve and their children, David, Kristen and Brett and Sue's stepchildren, Anne, Brad Jr., Elizabeth, Hilary and Donald.

Sue came to Albuquerque in 1995 after leaving a successful career as V.P. of Human Resources at a major computer services firm in N.Y.C. She settled in Placitas, where she bought a home. She lived there until her marriage to Brad in 2010. Sue continued her work in the Human Resources field by establishing a very successful consulting business, operating out of her home. During this time, she met her soon-to-be husband, Brad. They wed in 2010.

In 2002, she was introduced to Gourds as an art medium. It soon became her passion. Her creativity, skill and imagination combined resulted in many exquisite pieces of art. She entered several art shows and won many ribbons for her work. She also sold through galleries and out of her studio in Placitas. Sue soon became known as "The Gourd Lady" among her many followers and collectors. Sue's many friends, collectors of her art and family will miss her beautiful smile, warm heart, enthusiasm and outgoing personality.

Services will be held Saturday, January 19, 2019, 11:00 a.m., at  FRENCH - Wyoming, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. In lieu of flowers, please consider supporting our local Alzheimer's Association, 9500 Montgomery Blvd NE. Albuquerque, NM.
