Sharon Elaine Griego

Sharon Elaine Griego, age 65 of Albuquerque, NM passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2021. At her family home, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Alice Nunn; brothers, Ernie Nunn, Harold Eugene Nunn and Donald Powers.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Richard S. Griego Sr., sons, Richard S. Griego Jr. and fiancé, Isabel Chinana of Albuquerque, Aaron Griego and wife, Rebecca of Las Vegas, NV; daughter-in-law, Crystal Prendergast-Griego of Albuquerque; granddaughters, Emma Zoe, Ivory Elizabeth, and Abrianna Aailyah; grandsons, Isaac and Daniel Chinana, and Richie Griego, all of Albuquerque. Sharon is also survived by her sister, Jeannette Smart of Tennessee; and brother, Tom Nunn and wife, Terri of California.

Sharon retired from the Albuquerque Police Communications where she worked alongside the dedicated brothers and sisters that protected citizens of Albuquerque.

She was deeply loved by her family and will be missed.
