Rosemary Margaret Brady Garcia

Rosemary Margaret Brady Garcia died on February 5, 2017. She was born in Toledo, OH on January 19, 1930, moved to Springer, New Mexico as a young girl and soon moved to Albuquerque, where she spent the remainder of her life. Rosemary is survived by her daughter, Kathy Garcia; her special friend, Carol Zink, of Corrales; her five sons, John Garcia Jr. and wife Cindy of Arlington, TX, James Garcia and wife Margaret, Jerry Garcia and wife MaryAnn - all of Albuquerque, Larry Garcia and wife Stephanie of Rio Rancho, Don Garcia and wife Vivienne of Casa Grande, AZ; her beloved dog, Kacee, nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one on the way. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Garcia Sr.; her brother, Richard, and her sisters, Norma and Eileen.
Rosemary was an active member of the Immaculate Conception parish, where she attended and raised her children. She was most recently a member of the St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic parish. She will be missed by her many friends from all the different parts of her life, including her church family, the lake group, her camping buddies, neighbors and many more. Rosemary was active in water aerobics for more than 35 years and made many special friends who shared many good times.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 10, 2017 at 5:00 p.m., followed by a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Westside. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114. Father Tien-Tri Nguyen will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tim Garcia, Estevan Loya, James Marden, Mike Overall, Jay Salisbury and Nick Weber. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 5333 N. 7th Street, Suite B-212, Phoenix, AZ 85014.
