He was a Korean War veteran Honorably Discharged from Service to his Country. Robert was an Electrician for Western Electric, retiring after many years. Robert had many interests in his life; he loved family, sports, antiquing, and the ”art of a good deal”. He cherished visits from Mike and Nedra Cook and family who in reside in Nebraska. Marathon card-playing sessions with them would last all day and most nights into the wee hours. Spending a Saturday watching his granddaughter Grace play Volleyball or going out to lunch with his family were some of his favorite things to do. He reserved his time daily going to McDonald’s and socializing with his friends over a cup of coffee. Many holidays were spent with Ethel G. Trujillo and her family. One of his many loves was New Mexican food from Sadie’s Restaurant. He was a quiet man well-known for the white beard he wore. He will be missed by his family and friends. A man who never said a mean word about anyone, he was loved by many who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to a local Hospice. Memorial service will be on Monday, October 2, 2017, 3:00 p.m. at FRENCH - University.
