Rebecca Lynn (Rosas) Skornia

Rebecca Lynn Skornia (Becky), age 62, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022. Our sweet Becky was known for her infectious and precious loving heart. Becky was a dedicated Christian wife and mother who always put her family first. Her lovely warm smile would just melt you away. She was a giving person that would reach out to 'anyone' to comfort, console, and help them out, whether she knew them or not. Everyone who knew Becky knew she loved to shop so she could give to others. Black Friday was something she always loved to share with our family, primarily our kids. The Lord now has a special Angel that can lead this effort in heaven.

Becky is survived by her husband, Sid Skornia; her children, Melissa Gay and Brian Skornia; her grandchildren, Kaylene Hayes, Trevor Skornia, Trenton Skornia, Megan Gay, and Connor Gay. Becky is also survived by her brother, Stephen Rosas; and sister, Roberta Gonzales. Becky also leaves many cherished aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Becky's strong relationship with her lord was the center of her being, that cultivated her sweet kindred heart and giving spirit, enabling her to develop special relationships with her family and create some very strong and steadfast relationships with special friends throughout her life.

Becky was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ed and Geraldine Anderson, and Manuel and Sofia Rosas; her mom and dad, Charlene and Leopoldo (Leo) Rosas; her uncles, Anthony Rosas and Reynaldo Rosas; and her grandson Noah. Christian Services will be held Monday, October 10, 2022, at Mountainside Church of Christ, in Albuquerque, NM., at 10:00 am. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque, following services.
