Nancy Ness

Nancy Ness, born June 3, 1941, age 75, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother went to be with her Lord on November 5, 2016. She is survived by loving husband of 34 years, Erwin Ness; son, Craig Buchanan (wife Christy); daughter, Teri Mauldin (husband Jeff); step-daughters, Debbie Bulling (husband Tom) and Paula Ness. She is also survived by nine loving grandchildren, Evan Bulling, Ryan Buchanan (wife Kaitlyn), Emily Bulling, Jared Mauldin (wife Sara), Clayton Mauldin, Bret Buchanan, Shane Buchanan, Lili Mauldin, and Ben Mauldin.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Eileen Steinkraus, and her first husband of 21 years, Harold Buchanan Jr.

While she was a teacher, a business owner, and a preschool director her biggest joy was caring for her family. Nancy moved to Albuquerque in 1954. Nancy and Erwin lived in Angel Fire, NM for ten years, from 1992-2002. She was an active member of Hoffmantown Church for nearly 60 years. She loved history - contributing greatly to Hoffmantown's 50th Anniversary Publication.

A Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2016, 10:00 a.m., at Hoffmantown Church, 8888 Harper Drive NE, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Fairview Memorial Park, 700 Yale Blvd SE. In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift to Care Net or Joy Junction.
