Mina Solomon

Mina Solomon, age 93, passed away in her home Saturday, April 30, 2016. A long time resident of Albuquerque she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Sidney Solomon. Mina proudly served her country in the Coast Guard during WWII. She was active in the community and medical school through many volunteer activities. Mina loved to travel and she and her husband traveled extensively. She also enjoyed singing and she was an avid reader. Mina is survived by her brother, Louis Kramer; sister, Glory Goldman; daughters, Anne Hermes and husband, James of Charlotte North Carolina, Susan Rivera and husband, Tom of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Amanda Mascarenas and husband, Bill, Carlos Sanchez, Christina Sanchez; six great grandchildren, Carlos, Ray, Teya, Aiden, Jade and Jazmyn all of Albuquerque; and many nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2016, 12:00 noon at Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery, 700 Yale Blvd SE, Albuquerque NM 87106.
