Michael P. LaPlante

Michael LaPlante, 55, beloved husband and father, was called to his eternal resting place on September 3, 2018. He entered this world on May 29, 1963 in Skowhegan, ME, born to Emile and Lucille LaPlante.

He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline LaPlante of 28 years, his son Justin LaPlante of 16, father, Emile LaPlante and loving brothers and sister.

Michael served with honor in the Air Force from November 1981 till his retirement as Master Sergeant in November 2002.  During his service he received the Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal, five consecutive Good Conduct Medals, along with many other accolades and honors.   Michael was a true friend to many, a husband, a father; a sportsman and an ever-giving volunteer. His life is one that will be remembered in celebration.  Please celebrate his life with us at a Memorial Service to be held on Friday, September 21, 2018, 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Rio Rancho Chapel.
