Michael William Carroll

Michael William Carroll, age 57, a resident of Albuquerque since 1967, died unexpectedly on Saturday, June 25, 2016. He is survived by his mother, Sussanne Carroll of Albuquerque; sister, Sandi Lada and husband, Leon of Castle Rock, CO; brother, Skip Carroll of Rio Rancho, NM; nieces and nephews, Shawn Prochazka, Nichole Hockett, Shasta Carroll-Sonnabend, Tiffany Carrillo, and Edward "D.J." Carroll; 10 great nephews and nieces; and numerous other relatives and friends. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Edward Carroll, Jr. He was born in 1958 in Yuma, Arizona and graduated from Highland High School, Class of 1976. Mike went to work for KOAT, Channel 7 as a cameraman and worked his way up to Commercial Production Producer. He was the caretaker of his mother for several years. Mike was a very quiet person, loving history and politics. He loved the Lord and will be deeply missed by all his family and friends. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will take place Saturday, August 6, 2016, 2:00 p.m. at Highland Baptist Church, 417 Palomas Drive SE.
