Maria Elena (Ellen) Warrick went to be with our Lord on Saturday, September 10, 2016. She is preceded in death by her soul mate, Ronald D. Warrick, Sr.; her grandson, Juan DeJesus Sanchez; her father, Hipolito Gonzales; her mother, Maria Justa Gonzales; sister Pauline (Bob) Greenhow; brothers Joe (Frances) Gonzales, Paul (Emily) Gonzales, Richard Gonzales and her brothers-in-law, Ray Baca and Carlos Cala.
Ellen loved to love. She also loved camping and fishing, her crafts and casino-ing. She put her heart and soul into her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to be with her family and friends and will be dearly missed.
Ellen is survived by her daughters, Meloney Sanchez (Juan), Felicia Davis (Mike) and Paula Corral (Manuel); sons, Randy Warrick (Chris) and Shawn Warrick (Madison); grandchildren, Cecilia Velarde (Joe), April Maestas (Mario), Manuel Corral, Jr. (Danielle), Kevin Diegel, Christopher Warrick (Kelsey), Marissa Davis and Breanna (soon expected); great-grandchildren, Anna Marie, Selena, Jose Jr., Alissa, Arianna, Mario, Jay Jay and Alonie; sisters, Barbara Baca, Sally Cala, Vivian Paz (Efren) and her brothers, Fred Gonzales and Johnny Gonzales (Valerie).
A Rosary will be recited Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Westside. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the Rosary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, September 16, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Incarnation, 2309 Monterrey Road NE in Rio Rancho, NM. Interment will follow at 2:15 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 N. Guadalupe Street in Santa Fe, NM. Pallbearers will be Ellen's grandchildren, Cecilia Velarde, April and Mario Maestas, Manuel Corral, Christopher Warrick and Marissa Davis.
