Mary Ruth (Masten) Heeley

Mary Ruth (Masten) Heeley left this earth when she was called to the Lord August 14, 2016. Mary was born September 12, 1955 in Riverton, Wyoming to T.W. (Shorty) Masten and Margaret Hurley Masten. She married Don Heeley in May of 1981. They were married 35 years.
Mary loved the Lord and was dedicated to the advocacy of children with special needs. She earned her Master's degree in Christian Ministries at the age of 50 and went on to be a Court Appointed Special Advocate. She served on the board of several organizations including the Cerebral Palsy Parent Association. She has a book ready for publication. Mary was also known for her quirky sense of humor - she loved making people laugh.
Loved ones who will miss Mary until they meet again include her husband, Don; her two children, Jose and Joshua of Rio Rancho, NM; her brother, William (Butch) Masten (Rio Rancho); sister, Betty Ingram of Casper, WY and many other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Westside.
