Marcus Neal Woolman

Marcus Neal Woolman, Age 76, a life time resident of New Mexico and of Albuquerque since 1984, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Judy; children, Kelly Kirsling, Kristine Scales and partner, Larry Coggins, Leroy Woolman, and Craig Wilkinson and wife, Karen; two grandsons, Jeremy Baker and Rick Kirsling; brother, Don Woolman and wife, Linda; aunts, Mary Garrison and Martha Morrison; many special nieces, nephews, and cousins; and other relatives and close friends. Neal was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley and Neva Woolman; and sister Ellen Woolman. He was born in 1940 in Farmington, NM and graduated from Santa Fe High in 1958. Neal married Judy Gurss in 1962. He went to work for the phone company, retiring from US West after 33 years. Neal loved to hunt, fish, go camping, make wind chimes, and spend time with friends and family. He was a lover of the NFL. Neal was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2016, 2:00 p.m. at Mountainside Church of Christ, 12300 Indian School Rd. NE.
