Kristi Lynn Maxwell

Kristi Lynn Maxwell, 49, most loved Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt and best friend in life was called home to her eternal resting place with Jesus and all those we have loved that have gone before her on September 1, 2021. She entered this world on November 27, 1971 in Tampa, FL, born to Terry and Kathy Maxwell. Kristi graduated from Manzano High School and earned her Bachelors Degree at the University of New Mexico. In addition, she was a real estate broker serving the Albuquerque area.

She was a sunflower in our darkness, a free and beautiful soul. She brought joy, laughter, love and strength to all those who knew her. Kristi's love was fierce and steadfast and we are thankful to always have it with us. Her daughters were her greatest joy. Our world is forever changed with the loss of our beautiful sister.

She is survived in love by her daughters Bailey (Thurber) Guiney, Kylee Thurber, son-in-law Christian Guiney, parents Terry and Kathy Maxwell; sisters Gina (Maxwell) Smyer and Steven Schreiner; Julie Maxwell and Steven Mezzancello, and Laurie (Maxwell) Kerley and husband, Joshua; Nieces Taryn Smyer, Madyson (Smyer) Lue, Mia Parra, Evelyn Kerley; and great niece Aurora Marie Smyer; Nephews Stefan Smyer, Jonathan Benavidez, Nicolas Parra, Zackery Griego, Logan Kerley and Thomas Kerley. Aunt Kristi was Thomas J's favorite person. Kristi is also survived by a large extended family in Ohio, Michigan, and Florida.

She was preceded in death by her niece Katherine Rose Parra.

At this time a private service is being held for the family with a celebration of life to come at a later date.
