Karen L. Vernon

Karen L. Vernon, 49, born in Hinsdale, IL, died October 23, 2016 in Albuquerque. She is survived by her children, Alice and John Vernon; sisters, June Smith and husband, Brian, Alice Ferrari and husband, Peter; and many other family and friends. Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Barbara Hickey and her grandfather, Lloyd Coleman. Ms. Vernon worked as a Bernalillo County Clerk for 5 years after teaching pre- school for many years. She was a loving mother, sister and friend and will be dearly missed. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 29, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at New Covenant Church, 7201 Paseo Del Norte Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87113.
