June Dennison, a resident of Albuquerque since 1969, died peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, February 4, 2017. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, William Dennison; her parents, Henry Logan and Edna Logan Adams; her brothers, Staley and Alvin Logan; and her sister, Frances Thompson. She was a kind and loving woman who will be deeply missed by so many, including her daughters, Toni Meyer (Jeff Meyer) and Teri McHugh (Kevin Graham); her grandchildren, Rachael McHugh, Jessica Meyer, Sara McHugh, and Wesley Meyer; her great-grandchildren, Shawn, Alexis, Katlyn, Raymond, Domonick, Alyssa, and Aubrie. June was born in Garfield, NM in 1932. She grew up in Hatch, NM and went to school at New Mexico State University where she was a member of the Delta Zeta sorority. She loved to play Pinochle with her friends and spoil Shawn. June was in civil service and Bill was in the Army. Together, they had many adventures and saw much of the world. As profoundly as her loss is felt by all who knew her, we are all comforted to know she is reunited with Bill, the love of her life. Friends are welcome to attend a Memorial Gathering at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in June's name to the New Mexico School for the Blind, 1900 North White Sands, Alamogordo, NM 88310.
