Josephine Allen, 83, beloved Mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, was called to her eternal resting place on May 18, 2018. She entered this world on August 9, 1934 in Ponderosa, New Mexico, born to Rosendo and Miquelita Gallegos. She lived a very full and exciting life, seeing all corners of the globe and making life-long friends along the way. She is survived by her 4 daughters Theresa Allen and husband, Gregory Dinger; Katherine Lujan and husband, Al Lujan; Deborah Aragon and her husband, John Aragon; Cynthia Sikelianos; 8 grandchildren, Tanya Santistevan and husband, Ivan; Troy Giangola and wife, Shannon, Eric Lujan and wife, Addy, Tiffany Lujan, Melissa Aragon, Soul Aragon, Nicolette Sikelianos and Drake Sikelianos; and 5 great-grandchildren. Josephine was a military wife, first to her husband and the father of her children, Harold Allen (U.S. Army), and then to her second husband, Maurice Forsythe (U.S. Air Force), both of whom preceded her in death. Josephine was the beloved matriarch of her extended family and will always be remembered for her strength, her agility, and her love for life, family and God. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A Rosary will be held in her honor on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 8:15 a.m., followed by a Mass at 9:00 a.m. at St. Josephs on the Rio Grande 5901 Saint Joseph’s Ave. NW Albuquerque, NM 87120.
