John Miller Clark

John M. Clark, 77, of Rio Rancho, NM was received into the arms of his Savior on December 30, 2017. John was blessed with the gift of music and faithfully served God his entire life. Director of Choral Activities at UNM for 33 years, he retired in 2005 and was granted the distinction as Professor Emeritus of Music.

John is survived by his wife, of 54 years, Clarissa (Janie) Harker Clark; daughters, Clarissa Clark and Kelcy Clark; brother, Robert Clark (Nancy); sister, Marcia Horton Oldridge; and nieces and nephews he greatly adored.

A Memorial Celebration of John’s life will be held Saturday, January 13, 2018, 1:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 315 Coal Ave SW, in Albuquerque, NM 87102.
