Joan E. Pratt

Joan Pratt, age 79, passed from this world to a better place on January 21, 2019, to join her husband and friends who have been waiting for the final member of their pinochle group. She entered this world on December 30, 1939 in New London. Joan was married to her husband, Clesson Jr., for 45 years and pursued her love of travel with him, during his military career.

She has called Albuquerque home for the past 36 years where she worked at Sandia Area FCU and Honeywell for several years. Joan was an artist, musician, and created many beautiful keepsakes through crochet, needle point, and other crafts. She was an amazing mother and treasured friend.

She is survived by her children; William, Robert, Barbara (Kapela), and Clesson III, and wife Rhonda; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; her brother, Stuart; nephew, Robert; and niece, Karen.

A Life Celebration will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at her home in Albuquerque. Interment will be held on Friday, February 22, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, El Paso, Texas. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make a donation to YOUR favorite charity, in memory of Joan.
