Janis Maurer

Janis Maurer, age 89, a resident of Albuquerque since 1998, died Tuesday, September 20, 2016. She is survived by her children, Paul Maurer of MI, Brian Maurer and wife, Jo, of Albuquerque, and Gayle L. Riggs and husband, Jim, of Albuquerque; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many numerous other relatives and friends. Mrs. Maurer was born in Hill City, Kansas to Paul and Lottie Wiseman. She was a real estate broker and school teacher having taught in both the United States and Japan. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Cremation has taken place and per Janis's request there will be a private family Memorial Service.
