James S. McGee Jr.

In loving memory of our beloved father and a devoted son of God, James S. McGee Jr., 101, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2019. He was retired Army 2nd Lieutenant having served in the Philippines during WWII, was a member of the benevolent order of the Joshua and received recognition for his service at the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission. Married from 1963 until her death in 2008 to his "sweetheart", Cecilia Burgus McGee. He is survived by his stepson, David Birch; natural born children, Catherine McGee Cumiford and Mark McGee; 8 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, October 3, 2019, at 2:00 p.m., at Faith Lutheran Church, 10000 Spain Rd. NE 87111, with interment to immediately follow.
