Helen Asbury

Helen Asbury, 75 passed away on August 14, 2018 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is survived by her husband, Claude Asbury, of 36 years and her two children, Patricia Barlow, daughter and Hugh Barlow, Jr., son.

Helen was preceded in death by her first husband, Hugh Barlow, Sr. and her parents, Vardaman and Bernice Wash; and an older sister and brother.

She leaves behind two brothers and five sisters, a host of nieces, nephews, step-children, step-grandchildren, relatives, friends and co-workers.

A visitation will be held Thursday, August 23, 2018, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Westside. A Memorial Services will be held Friday, August 24, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at Grants AME Chapel, 7920 Claremont Ave. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
