Gloria Ryan, age 77, formerly of Long Island, NY, but a long time resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on November 2, 2016 at home. Gloria will be remembered as a loving, patient and devoted caregiver for most of her life.
She not only took care of her mother and mother-in-law, both of whom predeceased her, but she was also the primary caregiver for her late husband, John F. Ryan who died in October of 2015. During much of this time, Gloria was also the constant, caring, and loving sister to Mrs. Kay Loudon who survives her and is still living in Albuquerque. Gloria is also survived by her niece, Claire Johnson of Boca Raton, FL and a nephew, Kenneth Bohan, of Aurora, CO. Although Gloria and John never had children, they did rescue many dogs and cats over the course of their almost 50 year marriage.
A memorial gathering is being planned by a dear friend and will include the neighbors and friends in her community.
