Esther Chavez

Esther Chavez, 60, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 13, 2016. She was surrounded by her loving family. Esther was born in Cubero, New Mexico on November 30, 1955 to Daniel and Armelina Chavez. She is survived by her two daughters, Sophia Chavez and Chelsea Shutiva; three grandchildren, Santana and Symone Chavez and Alyna Fowler; six siblings, Helen Chavez and husband Alfonso, Danny Chavez, Jeanette Garcia and husband, Benny, Elma Chavez, Benjamin Chavez Sr. and Kim Chavez. Esther will be greatly missed by numerous relatives, friends, her community and all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Light Catholic Church, in Cubero, New Mexico. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Light Catholic Church, with Inurnment to follow at Cubero Cemetery.
