Eloise Christine (Dressler) Cumiford

Eloise Christine Dressler was born on Thursday, May 13, 1943, in Albuquerque and was the youngest of six children. She lived for a time in her youth in Bluewater, NM, but mostly spent her life in Albuquerque except when she lived in Gallup for approximately 15 years. She married James H. Cumiford, Sr., on September 11,1971, at Hoffmantown Baptist Church. She inherited three stepchildren and was a beloved stepmother and wife for 47 years. James H. Cumiford Sr. recently passed away just this past August of 2018. She is survived by her stepson, James H. Cumiford Jr. and his wife, Leslie who reside in Albuquerque. They have three adult children that live in three different states. Also Milton H. Cumiford who resides in Tijeras where his two children and families live as well. In Denver is stepdaughter, Brenda and her husband, Mark and their son lives in Corpus Christi. Eloise was a member of First Baptist Church here in Rio Rancho for many decades and enjoyed being a part of that beloved church family. She enjoyed taking small trips, watching Western movies, crafting, and caring for her beloved pets. Her loving and friendly spirit will be remembered and cherished.
