Elaine Y. Heckroth

Elaine Y. Heckroth, 93, died October 9, 2022. She is survived by her children, Louis W. Heckroth III and Judith Heckroth Culp; grandchildren, Louis W. Heckroth IV, Brandon Heckroth, Dustin Heckroth, Nikki Heckroth Lobato, Brian Culp III and Danielle Culp. Elaine also had 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 40 happy years, Lou Heckroth, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Donna Heckroth and son-in-law, Brian Culp.

Elaine was born in Barrington, New Jersey to Henry Youngblood and Naomi Franke Youngblood, both deceased. She was a member of La Mesa Presbyterian Church, singing in the choir, and active in many other ways, volunteering at Homeless Shelters and The Storehouse. Elaine lived a full life and left nothing more to give. Thank you to the employees at Camino Retirement Apartments for taking such good care of our mother for the last five years.

Burial will take place privately at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Donations should be made in Elaine's honor to the charity of your choice.
