Edith Grace Scales

Edith Grace Scales, age 93, was born April 4, 1923 and went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 26, 2017. She is survived by her children James E. of Albuquerque, Ronald G. (Cyndy) of Tucson, AZ, Donna R. Walhood (Gordon) of Albuquerque, Tina M. Lange (Martin) of Sarasota, FL; daughter-in-law Mary Susan of Albuquerque; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James P. ("Rusty") Scales; her son Richard A. and daughter-in-law Sandy. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was affectionately known as "Bambam" to her grandchildren and family. In addition to raising her family, she worked for Civil Service for many years. After retiring, she and Rusty enjoyed traveling. A visitation will be held for family and friends on Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 3, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at FRENCH - Lomas Chapel with a reception to follow. Burial will take place Friday, February 3, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
