Donte Morris

Donte Morris, age 7, died unexpectedly while fishing in Colorado, on Monday, June 20, 2016. He is survived by his granddad, Larry D. Morris; brother, Deven Morris; aunt, Renee Reid; uncle, Mike Reid; aunt, Teri Payne; grandmother, Sandra Payne; great-grandmother, JoAnn Bitton; mother, Bobbie Morris; best friend, Gavin Hawkins; his uncle, Fred Hawkins and uncle, Charlie Stearns; and lots of cousins, aunts, and uncles and friends who will truly miss him. Donte was born in 2008 in Albuquerque and was preparing to enter the second grade at A. Montoya Elementary School in Tijeras. He enjoyed dirt biking, four wheeling, fishing, swimming, hunting and anything to do with the outdoors. Donte also loved his music, his dancing, and his you-tube. He was the most loving, caring kid that anyone could know. Donte will be missed by all who knew him. Friends may visit one hour prior to the Funeral Service on Saturday, June 25, 2016, 2:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. Cremation will follow.
