Daniel Bernard Hillerman

Daniel Hillerman (Danny), age 58, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died 5th August 2022.

He is survived by his son, Daniel C Hillerman, of Albuquerque; daughter, Candyce Skouras and husband, Nick Skouras of Rio Rancho; sister, Anne Hillerman of Santa Fe; sister, Janet Grado and husband, Rudy Grado of Corrales; sister, Monica Atwell of San Antonio, TX; brother, Anthony Hillerman Jr and wife, Lori Hillerman of Sanger, TX; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Marie Hillerman; and brother, Steve.

Dan was a retired pharmacist of 30 years. He was an avid Queen fan and collector of their memorabilia. He was a beloved amateur "Ham" radio operator with many friends, both local and worldwide. He enjoyed the outdoors and prided himself on his annual "boys" camping trip to the Jemez Mountains for 30 consecutive years. Dan was also a frequent attendee of the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta and enjoyed bringing his RV and watching the launches and festivities with friends.

A Celebration of Life for Dan will be held September 9th, 2022, from 1-4 p.m. at the Ladera Golf Course banquet room. We invite all who wish to attend to celebrate his life and share memories of the man we all loved.
