Christine Contreras

Christine, age 90, of Albuquerque, was reunited with her husband on April 6, 2016. She is survived by her daughter, Marie Vining and husband Michael; her grandsons, Matthew and Mitchell Vining. She also leaves behind her sister, Lupe Sanchez as well as other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Max Contreras; and her siblings, Val, Louis, Ross, Vicki and Charlotte. Christine was born in Belen and spent all of her life here in New Mexico. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, and a faithful Catholic.

Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Rosary on Thursday, April 14, 2016, 6:00 p.m., at FRENCH - Wyoming. A Funeral Mass will follow on Friday, April 15, 2016, 10:00 a.m., at Risen Savior Catholic Community, 7701 Wyoming Blvd NE. She will be laid to rest at Gate of Heaven Cemetery next to her husband following the mass.
