Catherine Cardwell

Cate Cardwell, my mother, was, and I am sure will be, the most amazing person that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and knowing. I know that all of you feel very lucky to have had her as a friend. You cannot imagine how lucky I feel to have had her as a mother and a friend. She was never judgmental, cruel, dishonest or disloyal. She was kind, considerate, thoughtful and caring. She always enjoyed giving more than taking, seeing the positive instead of the negative. She would wake up each day wondering what lessons life would teach her next and how she could use them to become a better person. My mother was love and, because of this, it almost makes sense that she left this world on Valentine's Day. Although she is no longer with us in body, she will never leave our hearts or our minds. For me, there is no place in my world where I do not see her, feel her or hear her. I love you Momma. SERVICES: Because of who she was, she didn't want any services where people would stand around, cry and feel sad. My mother wanted a party, complete with music, balloons, streamers, the whole bit, to celebrate her life. So, that is what I am going to do. There will be a party at our house on March 22, 2014, from 3pm until we just can't party anymore. Please come prepared to share great stories and laughter.
